Employee Notice of Termination of Employment

This template is intended for employees who wish to formally terminate their employment at their own initiative.

Under Section 100(1) of the Labour Law of the Republic of Latvia, an employee generally must give one month’s notice, unless a shorter notice period is provided for in the employment contract or collective agreement. In certain circumstances, employment may also be terminated earlier by agreement between the employee and employer or where an important reason exists as provided by law.

The template allows you to provide the employee’s details and intended employment end date.

All fields that require your input are clearly marked with [ ] and highlighted in a different color, making them easy to identify.

1. Locate the fields marked with [ ].

3. Complete all required fields, including the company and representative details, employee information, date, and intended employment end date.

4. Review the completed document and make sure all information is accurate.
